Chairman - Lord Teverson (Robin)
Robin is a member of the House of Lords and chairs its European Union select committee on energy and the environment. His early business life was in the freight industry, after which he became a member of the European Parliament. Subsequently he worked for a number of years in the financial services sector in the South West. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Robin is a board member of the Marine Management Organisation, a non-executive director of KCS Trade Print, and vice chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Wholesale Financial Markets.
Managing Director - Andrew Pegg
Andrew is managing director of Wessex Investors, is a chartered surveyor and holds the CFA Investment Management Certificate. He has over 20 years of experience in the property industry; before Wessex, he trained at Conrad Ritblat before holding senior posts at Nelson Bakewell and Colliers Capital UK Ltd. During his time at Colliers Capital, Andrew was responsible for the origination of two specialist investment vehicles, Merchant properties LLP and Wessex Fund (JPUT).
Director - Tim Jones
Tim is a chartered surveyor with over 40 years of experience in property development in the South and South West region. Tim worked as development director for Chesterton Plc before operating as a regional developer in various partnerships until co-founding Wessex with Andrew in 2009. Tim also holds office in a variety of commercial and economic development focused organisations; these include chairman of Devon & Cornwall Business Council and chairman of Devon Economic Partnership. Tim was founding chairman of the Heart of the Southwest Local Enterprise Partnership.
Non-Executive Director - Tim Wills
Tim is a chartered surveyor and partner of BCM Real Estate (BCM). Tim trained at Weatherall Green & Smith before joining BCM. He has over 20 years of experience in commercial property operating in investment brokerage and advisory capacities. BCM is one of the UK's leading specialist property investment advisers, based in London.
Non-Executive Director - Judith Gannon
Judith is a chartered surveyor and has been working in the South West for more than 25 years, specialising in planning and development management. Her career has included Chesterton, South West Water's Property Team and Co-Op Group, and she is currently managing director of Abbey Manor Developments Ltd. Judith sits on a number of planning advisory panels in North Devon and Somerset and is a representative on the Heart of the South West Business Forum.
Consultant - Chris Oliver
Chris is a chartered surveyor with 30 years' experience in commercial property. He trained at King & Co in the early eighties before joining Bride Hall Developments. In 1989 he co-founded Salmon Developments, and in 1994 set up Salmon Harvester, a 50/50 JV with NFU Mutual. Between 1994 and 2001 the business completed three million sq ft of commercial development. In 2001 Chris co-founded Cube Real Estate, acquiring and asset managing £100 million of assets. A subsequent JV was formed with BP Pension Fund to acquire a £100m portfolio of value-add investments.
Consultant - Richard McCubbine
Richard has worked in property development for over 50 years, starting as an articled pupil with John Laing and then working for several major organisations before joining Development Securities Plc in 1996. During his time at DS (now U+I Plc), Richard was responsible for the delivery of the company's most iconic developments, including over 1 million sq ft of built space at Paddington Central and more recently 440,000 sq ft of offices at 10/12 Hammersmith Grove in 2016. Richard continues to work for U+I Plc on a part-time basis.
Treasury - Tracie Lusted
Tracie manages business administration and treasury for Wessex. Tracie runs a specialist business support company, providing services to entrepreneurs and senior business people covering everything from HR to facilities management.
Communications - Lucie Brailsford
Lucie manages all communications, PR and stakeholder engagement for Wessex Investors' development projects. She is co-founder of Seaxburh Partners, a communications, relationship and brand management consultancy that specialises in creating and delivering strategies for new places and development projects that meet the needs of the planning process.
