The site comprises 20 acres, originally a commercial woodland, opposite the Atlantic Village Factory Outlet. Wessex and Development Securities formed a JV to develop the property in 2012.

Subject-to-planning land sales were agreed with Whitbread and McDonalds for the first phase of development, and detailed planning was secured in 2014 for both the users and all necessary infrastructure.

Wessex delivered the infrastructure package to service the commercial sites in 2015/16, during which period further subject-to-planning land sales were agreed for the second phase, with Aldi and Starbucks. A detailed planning consent was then secured for the second phase.

In 2016 Wessex completed the infrastructure including the serviced platform for Aldi and Starbucks; the park is now practically complete and trading. Wessex is currently promoting the remainder of the site for residential uses, with a phased development plan.
